One of the best things about ChepkoFit is that I include your baby in the exercises. I carefully designed the sessions this way so you can keep bonding with your little one while you are taking care of your own body.
I know what stress it can be to find childcare for any activity you might want to do for yourself. By working out with your baby you can save the energy on looking for a suitable candidate to do the babysitting.
During certain moves you can provide tummy time for you baby, so not only you can benefit physically from my sessions but your baby too.
To be able to focus on yourself you need to have a peace of mind. Being a new mum (again) one thing is always on our mind: “how is my baby?”. Sometimes it only takes 2 minutes to be away from them and we start to feel anxious not knowing exactly what the baby is doing. By having the baby with us during exercise we allow ourselves to focus better on ourselves as we know, if anything is happening with baby, we are right there to take care of them. And being near mummy, the baby feels safe too, reducing the frequency of needing extra attention.
What else benefits are there of having the baby with us during exercises? It is going to become a routine, baby is going to get used to seeing mummy do workout, which is a great foundation to keep doing your workout in their presence uninterrupted (ok, maybe not uninterrupted, but with less disruptions compared to starting your exercises when they are older).
So, as the kids grow up that’s going to become the default for them. Not only letting you work on yourself, being the primary role model for your kids it is really important on the long terms that doing exercises regularly is getting imprinted in their mind. It is more likely that they will pursue a healthy lifestyle if that’s what they see from their mum. And that's what really matter, to live as healthy as we can to enjoy each other's company for as long as possible.
